Hannah Rae, AMFT
Parenting a teenager can be deeply meaningful—and incredibly challenging—especially when your child is struggling with substance use, disordered eating, or relationship patterns that feel hard to shift. If you’re feeling worried, overwhelmed, or unsure how to help, you are not alone.

I am a trauma-informed therapist who works with teens and young adults with compassion and respect for their individual stories. I understand that these struggles rarely occur in isolation. Meaningful, lasting change grows from safety, connection, and understanding—not shame.
My approach is attachment-based, psychodynamic, and narrative in nature. Together, we explore how past experiences and relationships shape the way your teen views themselves and connects with others. This process creates space for insight, healing, and growth. I also practice from a harm reduction perspective, meeting each teen where they are—whether they are working toward safer coping strategies, moderation, or recovery.

My goal is to create a warm, collaborative environment where your teen feels truly seen and supported—and where you, as a parent, feel included, informed, and empowered throughout the process.
